Does RateGoblin cancel or rebook my hotel?
No. RateGoblin monitors and compares. You remain in control of the booking and decide whether to act on an opportunity.
How does RateGoblin make money?
RateGoblin is funded only by monthly plans. We do not receive supplier commissions or referral payments, so our comparisons are neutral.
Do I have to book through RateGoblin?
No. You choose if, where and whether to book. RateGoblin never makes, changes or cancels a booking for you.
What do you store when I upload a confirmation?
We use the PDF, PNG or JPEG only to extract booking fields. The file is discarded after processing. The details you review and save—such as hotel, dates, room, price, cancellation terms and reference—remain in your account while it is active. You can request account deletion at any time; the account is permanently deleted after a 30-day recovery period.
What counts as a comparable rate?
We compare the available evidence for the hotel, dates, guests, room, board basis or meals, cancellation conditions, taxes, fees and currency. If a material detail cannot be confirmed, we show it for review.
Are savings guaranteed?
No. Hotel rates and availability move quickly. Opportunities are advisory, and you should always review the live offer before changing an existing booking.
How soon will support reply?
Email hello@rategoblin.com. We reply within one business day. Include your booking reference, but do not send card numbers or confirmation files to support.
